Perry decided to take E and J out and let them flip the canoe. We get that it seems funny when you're their age and not so much when you're our age. We wanted them to get the seriousness that it can be and know what to do if it does happen.
There were a few moments when I was wondering if the canoe was going to make it back to shore. I'm sure this wasn't exactly fun for Perry had a blast. He was a good sport and I hope the boys learned something.
Oh, I do know one thing they learned.................When you flip a canoe, you're swimming to shore with the canoe. They thought they would just be able to flip it over and get back in. Didn't work out so well.
